The Solana (SOL) network has experienced a surge in value, gaining more than 17% after receiving praise from ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood for its efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Wood, in a recent CNBC interview, recognized the Solana network as a crucial player in the wider blockchain ecosystem and commended its performance in the current market conditions.
Wood particularly highlighted Solana’s superior speed and efficiency compared to the Ethereum network. Wood also commented on the market’s anticipation of pending spot Bitcoin ETF products. Wood acknowledged the possibility of a “sell on the news” situation, where the hype around ETF approvals leads to a quick selloff after the actual event.
