Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 is gearing up to be one of the most significant events in the gaming world, set to unite guilds from across the globe in a thrilling competition with a remarkable $1,000,000 USD prize pool. The prize will be divided into $500,000 in USDC cash and tokens, as well as $500,000 in NFTs. This event will not only showcase the competitive spirit of players but also promote the adoption of blockchain technology in gaming.
Apeiron is more than just a game; it is a Web3 god game that combines elements of simulation, action, and collectible card games on the Ronin blockchain. Players, known as “Godlings,” are tasked with managing NFT planets and creatures called “Doods.” The game introduces a tri-token economy that enables players to own, trade, and utilize NFT assets seamlessly. Combat in Apeiron is strategic and card-based, adding a layer of depth to the gameplay.
The Guild Wars will unfold in two distinct phases. The first phase will see guilds competing on leaderboards from May 21, 2024, to July 2, 2024. During this period, web3 guilds can register and participate in ranking competitions to secure top positions. Following the leaderboard phase, the event will transition to the Guild Wars Invitational. This second phase will feature the top 12 guilds from Southeast Asia (SEA) and North America (NA) regions battling for supremacy.
The Guild Wars tournament will implement a double-elimination bracket, where participants will be eliminated after two losses. The top four seeded guilds will enjoy a first-round bye, automatically advancing to the second round of the tournament. The grand finals of the competition will take place in Hong Kong, with the top contenders flown in to compete for the ultimate glory. Guild registration is currently open, with the leaderboard phase kicking off on May 21.
To qualify for the invitational phase, guilds must earn a minimum of 1,000 ranked stars during the leaderboard phase. Alt-accounting is strictly prohibited, and guilds must have a minimum of 25 members or 300 followers to participate in the event. The rules and regulations aim to ensure fair play and uphold the integrity of the competition.
In conjunction with the Guild Wars, Apeiron will introduce the $ANIMA token, a win-to-earn and player incentive token that can be earned in-game and traded on Katana Dex. $ANIMA can be utilized to enhance Apeiron NFTs and will be available for in-game transactions as Animus in the upcoming Apeiron top-up store. Players who have accumulated $ANIMA Airdrop Points will see them converted into battle-ready $ANIMA on the specified date. Additionally, Apeiron will launch the S3 PvE dungeon for testing on May 23, following the successful beta of the Apeiron Arena.
