This initiative aims to distribute over 2.45 million zkSync (ZK) tokens to community members as a token of appreciation for their unwavering support towards the zkSync PancakeSwap deployment since July 2023.
The airdrop is not just limited to longstanding contributors but also welcomes newcomers who actively engage with PancakeSwap. According to the official blog post, both veCAKE holders and past contributors are eligible to participate in this rewarding program. To claim the ZK tokens, users need to connect their wallets to the PancakeSwap platform homepage and follow the instructions provided in the pop-up notification.
Any unclaimed tokens from the airdrop will be reallocated to the PancakeSwap ecosystem to support upcoming development and community projects. The exchange’s team highlighted the significant progress made since their initial launch on zkSync Era last summer.
During this period, PancakeSwap introduced essential features such as seamless Swaps, Yield Farming, Prediction Markets, Fiat On-Ramp, Position Manager, and Syrup Pools.
