Evernode Announces Airdrop of Evers Tokens for XRP Holders

Evernode, a layer 2 smart contract solution developed on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), has recently disclosed the initial details of its upcoming airdrop. This airdrop is specifically intended for XRP holders who meet the eligibility criteria.

To participate in the airdrop, XRP holders are required to provide a snapshot of their holdings by the beginning of September. It is important to note that these tokens must be held on-chain, meaning they should not be stored through an exchange. This snapshot will serve as a basis for the distribution of 5,160,960 Evers tokens to eligible participants.

Evernode has specified that the main focus of the token distribution will be on XRP holders with balances of up to 50,000 XRP. Investors with larger balances are encouraged to hold their tokens in separate accounts in order to benefit from the airdrop.

Evernode explained that the snapshot of the XRP Ledger is necessary because of the launch of the Hooks sidechain, which includes a burn2mint mechanism. This snapshot will enable the team to ensure that all eligible XRP holders receive their respective share of Evers tokens when the Hooks sidechain goes live.

As more information becomes available about the launch of the Hooks sidechain, Evernode has promised to provide further details regarding the airdrop. This will include specific instructions for participants and any additional requirements they may need to fulfill.

Evernode explicitly stated that the airdrop is a gift, which means that not all XRP holders will receive Evers tokens. While the team endeavors to distribute the tokens fairly, there is no promise or warranty regarding the amount of Evers tokens that individual participants will receive. Evernode reserves the right to alter the airdrop plan or cancel it entirely without providing a specific reason.

Evernode’s announcement of their airdrop for XRP holders presents an exciting opportunity for eligible participants to receive Evers tokens. By following the instructions and meeting the snapshot requirement, XRP holders can potentially benefit from this token distribution. However, it is crucial to remember that the airdrop is not a guaranteed reward and Evernode may modify or cancel the plan at their discretion. Stay tuned for further updates on the Hooks sidechain launch and the specific details of the airdrop.
